There are many ways to help Alexa's Canine Trust, from making a regular financial donation which enables us to help animals and owners in need, to becoming a volunteer and helping us with various tasks, such as working in the shop or checking in on fos
Regular Donation
This type of donation is so important to a charity like ours. The money you donate enables us to help animals and owners in need whether that be veterinarian help, animal food, kennelling etc.
You can donate online or please download the Standing Order form and return it to your bank or building society. If you Gift Aid your donation, we can claim 25p from the treasury for every £1 you donate!

Volunteer
The success of any charity always depends on its volunteers, and we are always grateful for any time you can spend helping us.
There are a variety of ways in which you can help:
- Volunteering in one of our shops, whether that be helping customers or sorting and pricing stock.
- Becoming a rescue dog home checker.
- Picking up donations from our shop.
- Helping with online sales.
- Helping with gift aid.
The list is endless so even if you can only spare a few hours a month or week or day please contact us by filling out our simple form and we will get back to you.
Sponsor a dog
Sometimes when dogs come to us, they are elderly with medical issues and as such they require what is sometimes expensive ongoing treatment.
We therefore have a permanent foster programme whereby the dog will go to a permanent foster home to live out his/her best life. However, it remains an Alexa's dog and we pay for all it's veterinary care. If you would be interested in sponsoring a dog, please send an email to
Fundraiser for us
This could be a coffee morning, quiz night at the pub, afternoon tea, a golf day or, if you are adventurous, a climb up Ben Nevis
Whatever you decide to do, your effort and donation, no matter how big or small, will be gratefully recieved. All the monies raised will be used to help us look after animals and their owners
Legacies and In Memory
When you leave a legacy in your will it allows us to carry on our work into the future helping dogs find permanent loving homes.
A gif tin your will is a wonderful way of showing how much you love animals, and it is quite simple to do. If you have a solicitor, have a word with them. You will need our full name, full address, and charity number.

BECOME A BUSINESS SUPPORT PARTNER
There are a variety of ways you, as a business can support Alexa’s Canine Trust.
It could be providing professional services or simply donating money by holding one of our collection tins in your office or shop.
